I am now back from my short stay in India. A very eventful trip though and I now have to get back into sorting the photos!

My plan over the coming weeks is to start sifting through the shots and categorising them before publishing. So stay tuned and I’ll update when I can!

I recently set up a photography group on Facebook to test the water for a local meet of likeminded folk once a month in Taunton to talk photography. Well… since the group was set up we have had a fair bit of interest and we now meet the second Monday of every month at the Plough Inn, Station Road, Taunton.

Our last meeting went extremely well considering the rather cold weather and we spent a couple of hours and a few beers discussing each others work and presenting our work on the projector.

Our next meeting is on Monday February 8th 2010 at 8.00pm.  We have decided against a subject for this month but will be  using the time until the meeting to take plenty of shots of whatever we please and opening them up to some critique. (Friendly obviously!)
