I recently set up a photography group on Facebook to test the water for a local meet of likeminded folk once a month in Taunton to talk photography. Well… since the group was set up we have had a fair bit of interest and we now meet the second Monday of every month at the Plough Inn, Station Road, Taunton.

Our last meeting went extremely well considering the World Cup and we spent a couple of hours and a few beers discussing each others work and presenting our photos on the projector.

Our next meeting is on Monday July 12th 2010 at 8.00pm.  We have set the challenge of ‘A Day in the Life’ this month. 10-20 Photos of ‘A Day in the Life’.  As usual use the time until the meeting to take plenty of shots of whatever we please and opening them up to some critique. (Friendly obviously!)
