Thanks for taking your time to visit Nick Foster Photography. It might be fairly obvious to you now but… I’m Nick Foster
Some things that might not be so obvious… I’ve lived in Somerset my whole life, spending the first 19 years in Somerton before leaving the nest and spending time in Crewkerne, Hatch Beauchamp and finally landing in Taunton.
I am a motivated and enthusiastic 28 year old whose acute interest in all things photographic started at the grand old age of 12 when my dad bought me a 1979 Olympus OM10 with Manual adapter and Zuiko 50mm f1.8 lens (Which I still own and occasionally use.) Although before hand I was occasionally sent on School trips and outings with an Olympus Trip 35, it never really got the use the OM10 did.
Over the past 15 years my interest has varied along with the medium. The time and expense of experimenting with film and dark room consumables has long been replaced by the digital darkroom. The speed in which I learnt new techniques increased considerably due to digital cameras.
My experience in photography to date has allowed me to cover Portrait, Product, Wedding and Event Photography, as well as my own interests in experimenting with more abstract and technical shooting.
